Jenn Weidman

Founder & CEO

Jenn is a facilitator, resilience practitioner, and peacebuilding professional with over two decades of experience working across Thailand, Southeast Asia, and globally, including in conflict-affected and post-conflict contexts across the Asia Pacific, Ukraine, and the Middle East.

Her work sits at the intersection of high-stakes facilitation, resilience practice, leadership development, and conflict and peacebuilding. She has worked with for-purpose companies, social enterprises, impact organizations, UN agencies, international and national NGOs, government bodies, and cross-sector coalitions in environments where the stakes are high, the dynamics are complex, and the margin for error is small.

An anthropologist by training and fluent in Thai, Jenn brings deep contextual and cross-cultural understanding to every engagement. She is the author of several books on resilience and peacebuilding.

Space Bangkok was founded in 2016 out of Jenn's firsthand experience of both the demands of complex environments and the gap between how organizations were working and how they could be working.

Charlie Allen

Charlie is a facilitator and leadership practitioner with over three decades of experience working across the security sector and complex international contexts including Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Oceania.

His work focuses on strategic and operational facilitation, leadership development, and systems change in environments where pressure is constant, stakes are high, and the ability to build connection and maintain cohesion is critical.

Working Together

Jenn and Charlie have developed their facilitation practice together over many years and continue to collaborate across Space Bangkok and Space Melbourne. They bring complementary experience, shared values, and a common approach to facilitating complex, high-stakes work across sectors, cultures, and contexts.
